Russian army losses in the war against Ukraine in 2025 amount to 418,170 soldiers.

According to Ukrinform, this is stated on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to eliminate the enemy. In 2025, Russian invaders suffered significant losses in manpower and equipment.

Thanks to the resilience and coordinated professional work of all components of the Defense Forces, Russian losses in 2025 amount to: personnel – 418,170 killed and wounded, tanks – 1,816, armored vehicles – 3,806, artillery systems – 14,146, MLRS – 331, air defense systems – 234, aircraft – 65, helicopters – 17, tactical UAVs – 77,322, cruise missiles – 1,133, submarines – 1, vehicles – 39,743, special equipment – 363.

“Every occupier destroyed, every tank burned brings us closer to a just peace. Thank you all for your professional combat work,” the General Staff emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to January 1, 2026, amount to about 1,208,970 service members, including 1,060 people on the previous day.
