One killed, three injured in 697 Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia region over past day
Russian forces carried out 697 attacks on 28 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region on December 30, leaving one person dead and three others wounded.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Russian troops conducted 12 airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, Voskresenka, Rizdvianka, Boikove, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, and Sviatopetrivka," Fedorov wrote.
A total of 457 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV drones) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Chervonodniprovka, Kushuhum, Balabyne, Veselianka, Novoslobodka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Verkhnia Tersa, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Varvarivka, and Solodke.
Five MLRS strikes hit Malokaterynivka, Zaporozhets, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, and Varvarivka.
Additionally, 223 artillery strikes were carried out on Chervonodniprovka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Dorozhnianka, Varvarivka, and Solodke.
Authorities received 53 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities.
On December 29, Russian forces launched 608 attacks on 25 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, killing one man and wounding five women.
