Enemy attempts to cross Siverskyi Donets River and conducts raids from Siversk toward Dronivka – Air Assault Forces
Russian invaders continue attempts to cross the Siverskyi Donets River and to carry out raids from Siversk toward Dronivka.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was stated by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Telegram channel.
The situation in Dronivka remains difficult but is under the control of units of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade. The enemy continues to attempt to cross the Siverskyi Donets from both the Serebrianskyi Forest area (in the western and northwestern directions) and from the Yampil sector. Almost daily, the invaders attempt to transport personnel across the river to pose a threat to AFU units in Dronivka.
Over the past day, Russian forces attempted to land an assault group using a rubber motorized boat. A unit of unmanned systems of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade destroyed the group at the moment of landing and prevented any infiltration.
The enemy is also attempting to reach Dronivka from the southeast. Small groups of Russians from Siversk conduct raids, moving via the Bakhmutivka River located to the south. To prevent the movement of Russian personnel, soldiers of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade destroyed the crossing using a bomber drone. Three enemy servicemen were eliminated.
Over the past week, within the brigade’s area of responsibility, 54 Russian servicemen were destroyed, along with three motorcycles, one quad bike, and a rubber motorized boat.
As reported by Ukrinform, 151 combat engagements between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and Russian invaders occurred on the frontline on December 29.
