Air Defense Forces destroyed one ballistic missile and 52 UAVs used by Russians to attack Ukraine since the evening of December 29.
According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 29, the invaders attacked with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from temporarily occupied Crimea and the Voronezh region, as well as 60 Shahed and Gerbera UCAVs and other types of drones from the following directions: Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), Hvardiiske, and Chauda (Crimea). About 40 of them were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, Air Defense Forces shot down/jammed one ballistic missile and 52 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Ballistic missile and eight UCAV hits were recorded at five locations.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russians attacked the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of Dnipropetrovsk region with strike drones, injuring a 67-year-old woman.
