War update: 151 clashes with Russian invaders recorded at front lines
Over the past day, on December 29, 151 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded along the front line.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook in an update as of 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30.
The enemy carried out 47 air strikes, dropping 129 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces conducted 3,651 attacks, including 62 using multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 5,287 kamikaze drones.
Air strikes hit the areas of Bezdryk in the Sumy region; Pokrovske in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Sloviansk and Mykolaivka in the Donetsk region; and Barvinivka, Nove Pole, Sviatopetrivka, Zaliznychne, and Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck an area where Russian personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, two combat engagements were recorded. The enemy also carried out 83 attacks.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 12 attacks near Vovchanski Khutory, Vovchansk, Starytsia, Prylipka, and toward Izbytske and Kolodiazne.
In the Kupiansk sector, five enemy attacks occurred. Defense Forces repelled assault actions near Pishchane and toward Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman sector, Russian troops attacked 10 times, attempting to break into Ukrainian defenses near Kolodiazi, Zarichne, and toward Yampil.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian forces stopped three enemy attacks in the area of Dronivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, no offensive actions by Russian troops were recorded.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 17 attacks in the areas of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Kostiantynivka and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 43 assault actions by the Russian army in the areas of Pankivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novoserhiivka, and toward Filiia.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the invaders carried out 13 attacks in the areas of Tovste, Oleksandrohrad, Verbove, and Rybne.
In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces repelled 25 enemy attacks in the areas of Solodke, Huliaipole, and Bilohiria.
In the Orikhiv sector, two combat engagements occurred. The enemy attempted to advance near Stepove and Shcherbaky.
In the Prydniprovske sector, the invaders attempted to advance twice but were repelled.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of Russian offensive groupings were detected.
As Ukrinform previously reported, the total combat losses of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to December 30, 2025, amount to approximately 1,206,910 personnel, including 1,220 over the past day.
