Russian troops launch nearly 50 strikes on Sumy region in 24 hours, one person wounded
Russian troops launched nearly 50 strikes on 23 settlements in 13 communities in the Sumy region between the morning of December 29 and the morning of December 30, wounding one person.
According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on its Facebook page.
“In the Bezdryk community, a 60-year-old man was wounded as a result of a guided aerial bomb explosion,” the report said.
Most of the attacks were recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.
Russian troops used artillery, FPV drones, guided aerial bombs, and UAVs on the territory of the Sumy region.
In the Sumy community, non-residential and administrative buildings, as well as a truck, were damaged.
In the Bezdryk community, private residential buildings were damaged.
In the Shostka community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.
In the Esman community, a private residential building was destroyed.
In the Znob-Novhorod community, a store was destroyed.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, a private residential building was damaged, and civilian infrastructure facilities were destroyed.
Over the past day, 44 people have been evacuated from the border communities of the Sumy region.
