Donetsk region: 1,400 residents remain in Dobropillia community
As many as 1,400 residents remain in the frontline Dobropillia community, Pokrovsk district, including 1,000 in the town of Dobropillia.
According to Ukrinform, the juvenile police reported this on Telegram.
"Currently, about 1,000 people remain in Dobropillia, and more than 1,400 residents in total remain in the community. The police continue efforts to evacuate and provide assistance to the civilian population," the statement said.
In particular, near Dobropillia, a police "White Angel" crew evacuated a family with two young children aged two and seven. According to law enforcement, the boys and their parents had been living in an improvised underground dugout due to constant shelling and the threat to their lives.
It was also reported that police officers, together with volunteers, delivered humanitarian aid to the frontline town, including warm clothing and food, and rescued a dog that had become entangled in an anti-drone net and was in mortal danger.
As previously reported, nearly 147,000 people have been evacuated from frontline areas over the past six months.
