Air Defense Forces destroy 21 of 25 Russian drones

Air Defense Forces destroyed 21 of the 25 drones used by Russians to attack Ukraine since the evening of December 28.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.

Starting at 9 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, the Russians attacked with 25 Shahed and Gerbera UCAVs and other types of drones from the directions of Orel, Millerovo (Russia), Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea), and temporarily occupied Donetsk. About 15 of them were Shahed drones.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 on Monday, December 29, Air Defense Forces shot down/jammed 21 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.

Four combat UAVs were recorded hitting two locations.

The attack continues, with several enemy drones in the airspace.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops attacked the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of Dnipropetrovsk region with strike drones, causing fires.
