Fires break out as Russians attack Dnipropetrovsk region
Russian troops launched drone strikes on the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region, causing fires.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by Vladyslav Haivanenko, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
He stated that in the evening of December 28, the enemy again struck the Nikopol district, specifically targeting the Marhanets community with an FPV drone.
During the night and morning of December 29, Russian forces directed drones at the Synelnykove district, hitting the Dubovyky and Vasylkivka communities.
A school and a private house caught fire.
Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 12 drones over the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Previously, Ukrinform reported that Russian forces had struck two districts of the Dnipropetrovsk regio at night, damaging homes, a school, a farm, and a gas pipeline.
