Two high-rise buildings damaged in air strike in Kyiv
Two high-rise buildings have been damaged in an air strike in Kyiv, and a number of private houses are on fire.
According to Ukrinform, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko reported this on Telegram.
“Several private houses are on fire in the Darnytskyi district. There is a threat that the fire could spread to a nearby nursing home. Rescuers evacuated 10 people from it,” the mayor said.
Shortly thereafter, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that a multi-story residential building in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv had been damaged by a Russian attack.
“A multi-story residential building has been damaged in the Darnytskyi district. There is a fire on the top floor,” the report said.
Later, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that an 18-story residential building in the Dniprovskyi district had also been damaged.
According to Ukrinform, the consequences of the Russian attack in Kyiv were reported in the Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Solomianskyi, Obolonskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Desnianskyi districts.
