Glide bomb strikes on Kharkiv: Two killed, infant among wounded

As of now, four people are known to have been injured as a result of Russian strikes on the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv, and two people have been killed.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The number of wounded has risen to four. Medics are providing all necessary assistance to the victims. At present, two fatalities are confirmed," the post says.

According to Syniehubov, an infant is among the injured.

"Among those injured in Kharkiv is a 9-month-old girl. Medics are providing all necessary assistance," he noted.

Due to the shelling, traffic has been temporarily blocked on Klochkivska Street, on the section from Oleksiivska Street to Peremohy Avenue, Syniehubov reported.

He urged residents to take this information into account when moving around the city and planning their routes.

As Ukrinform previously reported, on December 26 Russian troops carried out guided aerial bomb strikes on Kharkiv and its suburbs. One of the city's busiest thoroughfares was hit. As a result of the attack, nearby buildings were damaged and cars caught fire.
