Ukraine’s intelligence unit hits major Russian air defense assets in Crimea
Fighters of the Prymary (Ghosts) special unit of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) destroyed a Russian S-300V launcher and other high-value targets in temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to Ukrinform, the DIU reported this on Facebook and released a corresponding video.
“On Christmas eve, the soldiers of the DIU special unit Prymary once again paid a visit to temporarily occupied Crimea and burned down a number of high-value targets belonging to the Russian invaders,” the statement said.
Among the targets hit were an S-300V missile launcher, an RSP-6M2 radar system, a Redut-221 command-and-staff vehicle from a Buk-M3 air defense system, and an RPN 9S36M radar station, also part of a Buk-M3 system.
DIU special forces also struck an enemy protective structure for weapons and military equipment, near which two Russian invaders were present.
