Russians strike evacuation mission in Kostiantynivka with drone: One killed, two injured
In Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, an enemy drone struck an evacuation mission, killing one civilian and injuring two others.
According to Ukrinform, Serhii Horbunov, head of the Kostiantynivka City Military Administration, stated this on Facebook.
He noted that the Kostiantynivka community suffers daily from brutal strikes by Russian occupiers. The enemy continues to use a tactic of targeted hunting for people, employing strike FPV drones in residential areas of the city.
"One civilian was killed as a result of a hit by an enemy fiber-optic drone. His life was cut short instantly by the aggressor's targeted strike. Two more people sustained bodily injuries of varying severity," the city head wrote.
He added that at the time of the attack the victims were engaged in the most important task — evacuating people from dangerous areas. It was another evacuation mission aimed at saving the lives of community residents.
"The injured were promptly taken to the city hospital in Druzhkivka, where they are currently receiving all necessary medical care," Horbunov added.
According to him, a passenger car belonging to the public organization "Kramatorsk Association of Volunteers" also came under enemy fire. This vehicle carried out daily evacuations of civilians, transporting people from the most dangerous areas. The community head stated that no damage to residential buildings was recorded during this attack.
Law enforcement agencies continue to document crimes committed by the Russian Federation.
Horbunov once again emphasized that no safe places remain in the Kostiantynivka community, as the enemy is hunting civilian vehicles and ordinary passersby. Therefore, the best way to protect oneself and one's loved ones is evacuation to safer regions.
As reported earlier, in the Donetsk region Russian troops wounded two civilians over the past day, December 24.
