DIU sources reveal details of Moscow liquidation of police officers who tortured Ukrainian prisoners

On the night of December 24, two Russian Interior Ministry officers who had participated in the war against Ukraine and tortured Ukrainian prisoners of war were killed on Yeletskaya Street in Moscow.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

At around 1 a.m., a local resident, in protest against the Kremlin's aggressive policy, killed two representatives of the Russian security forces. Approaching a police car parked near a police station, the man threw an explosive package into the car window, causing an explosion.

According to a source in military intelligence, two Russian police officers were killed instantly in the explosion, and two others were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense note that the killed Russian police officers had previously participated in hostilities against Ukraine as part of the invading Russian army. In addition, there is evidence of their involvement in the torture of Ukrainian prisoners of war, which is systematically carried out by Russian invaders in violation of the Geneva Conventions and the rules and customs of war.

As reported by Ukrinform, two police officers and another person were killed in an explosion in Moscow near the site where the car of Russian General Fanil Sarvarov, who fought against Ukraine, was blown up this week.
