On the night of December 20-21, two Su-30 and Su-27 fighter jets burned at a Russian military airfield near Lypetsk.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

As a result of the operation carried out by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, directly implemented by a representative of the resistance movement, both Russian military aircraft were put out of action.

The estimated total cost of the two damaged fighter jets, which Russia used in the war against Ukraine, could be up to $100 million.

The Main Intelligence Directorate noted that the Su-27 and Su-30 with tail numbers “12” and “82” were destroyed thanks to thorough preparation, composure, and professionalism.

Planning the special operation at the airfield near Lypetsk took two weeks.

“The studied patrol route and guard shift schedule allowed us to secretly penetrate the military facility of the aggressor state, strike the Russian ‘dryers’ directly in the protective aircraft hangar, and then leave the airfield unhindered,” the intelligence service emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, long-range drones from the Alpha Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine struck two Su-27 aircraft at the Russian military airfield in Belbek in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
