Ukrainian drone forces destroy Russian bridge-layer, tanks, armored vehicles in Donetsk direction

In the Donetsk direction, operators of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces stopped Russian assault actions and struck enemy tanks, armored vehicles, and an MTU-20 tank bridge-layer.

According to Ukrinform, the Unmanned Systems Forces reported this on Telegram.

The operation was carried out by operators of the 427th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment RAROG.

The neutralized MTU-20 tank bridge-layer was intended to enable the advance of Russian tanks and armored vehicles toward the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces. Ukrainian troops eliminated enemy infantry cover groups and made any further offensive impossible.

The MTU-20 is a Soviet-era tank bridge-layer developed on the basis of the T-55 medium tank. It is designed for the rapid deployment of a single-span metal bridge with a load capacity of up to 50 tons over obstacles up to 18 meters wide. The bridge can be deployed by the crew without leaving the vehicle.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, near Pokrovsk in Donetsk region, Ukraine’s Defense Forces conducted a special operation to destroy a large concentration of Russian armored vehicles.
