Missile strike in Odesa region: Death toll rises to eight, 27 injured

Eight people have died and 27 were injured as a result of a Russian missile attack on a port infrastructure facility in Odesa district.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) stated this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

According to the post, on the evening of December 19, Russian occupiers launched a missile strike on the port infrastructure facility in Odesa district. Some of the injured were in a bus that was at the epicenter of the strike.

Cargo trucks caught fire in the parking area, and passenger vehicles were also damaged. All fires were quickly extinguished, DSNS noted.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, earlier information indicated that seven people had died and 15 were injured in the Russian ballistic missile strike on the Odesa region’s port infrastructure.
