Traffic to Moldova border in Odesa region restricted after Russian attack

In the Odesa region, traffic to certain border crossing points on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border has been restricted following a Russian air attack.

Ukraine's State Border Guard Service said this in a statement seen by Ukrinform.

"As a result of a Russian attack on a critical infrastructure facility, traffic on the Odesa-Reni highway has been suspended," the statement said.

Citizens were advised to refrain from traveling in this direction until the situation stabilizes.

In the Odesa district, a Russian drone struck a civilian vehicle traveling across a bridge, killing a woman and injuring three children.

Odesa Region Governor Oleh Kiper noted that Russians had already attacked this section three times.

He urged drivers to avoid traveling toward the bridge in the area of the Dniester Estuary near the village of Maiaky.
