Russians shell settlements in the Sumy region more than 70 times in 24 hours, woman killed

The Russian army carried out more than 70 attacks on 25 settlements in the Sumy region, killing a woman.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“An 80-year-old woman was killed in the Seredyna-Buda community as a result of shelling with unguided high-power aircraft missiles (NAR),” the report said.

It is noted that during the day, from the morning of December 13 to the morning of December 14, 2025, Russian troops carried out more than 70 shellings of 25 settlements in 13 territorial communities of the region.

The most shelling was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.

The enemy used artillery, mortars, FPV drones, UAVs, guided aerial bombs, and unguided aerial missiles.

In the Sumy community, civilian infrastructure, non-residential premises, a high-rise building, and passenger cars were damaged. In the Vorozhba community, non-residential premises were damaged. Additionally, in the Seredyna-Buda and Richky communities, private residential buildings were damaged.

In addition, a vehicle belonging to energy workers was destroyed in the Bilopillia community, and damage to residential areas, civilian infrastructure, and non-residential premises was reported in the Shostka community.
