Russians continue to exert pressure near Vovchansk and in Lyman sector — Tregubov

Over the past few days, Russian occupation forces have continued to exert pressure near the city of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region and in the Lyman sector in the Donetsk region.

This was reported on television by Viktor Tregubov, Head of the Communications Department of the Joint Forces Task Force, according to Ukrinform.

"The enemy continues to exert pressure near Vovchansk and in the Lyman sector. Attempts to break through toward Kupiansk also continue, albeit with limited success. In other areas, activity has not been very high in recent days," Tregubov said.

He specified that in Kupiansk, the Russians remain present in the northern parts of the city, where “they are suffering losses and trying to reinforce their troops.”

Also, according to him, the situation in Vovchansk remains tense. Ukrainian troops are present in part of the city. Still, the Russians are trying to push them out, taking advantage of the fact that Ukrainian positions are heavily damaged in many places.
