Russian forces attack energy facilities in Poltava region

Russian troops attacked energy facilities in the Kremenchuk district of Poltava region during the night of December 11, causing fires.

The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kohut, stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Air defense was active. A significant number of targets were shot down. Due to falling debris and direct hits, fires broke out at the facilities," Kohut said.

All relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

As Ukrinform reported, on the night of December 7, the Russians struck energy infrastructure facilities in Poltava region, including the city of Kremenchuk, as well as in Chernihiv region.
