Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SOF) carried out a series of precision nighttime strikes on Russian military logistics sites in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, destroying drone stockpiles and fuel reserves.

According to Ukrinform, the SOF reported this on Facebook and released corresponding video footage.

“During the night of December 8, SOF units successfully struck enemy targets in the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions using combat UAVs,” the statement reads.

The SOF reported that in Donetsk, their drones hit a warehouse belonging to the 9th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade (military unit 51A). The facility had stored a large number of tactical-level reconnaissance and strike drones, as well as their warheads.

In Luhansk region, a separate strike targeted a fuel depot in the village of Simeikine used by the Russian South logistics group.  “As a result of the strike, tanks containing around 6,000 m³ of fuel were destroyed,” the SOF noted.
