Russians shell Vilniansk in Zaporizhzhia region, leaving four people injured
As many as our people were injured and 15 houses damaged as a result of a Russian airstrike on the town of Vilniansk in Zaporizhzhia region.
The regional office of the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“On December 8, at 12:20, Russian forces struck one of the settlements in Zaporizhzhia district. Four people were injured in the attack. The number of casualties is being clarified,” the report says.
It is noted that 15 residential houses were damaged in the strike, with no subsequent fire.
Earlier, head of the regional administration Ivan Fedorov confirmed that the strike hit the town of Vilniansk. Rescuers carried out an inspection of the area.
As reported, in the afternoon of December 8, Russian forces struck the city of Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding area. There was an impact on an industrial facility. So far, seven people in the regional center and several others elsewhere in the region have been reported injured.
