Russians carry out nearly 130 strikes on Sumy region in one day, 12 people injured
From the morning of December 7 to the morning of December 8, Russian forces launched nearly 130 strikes on 43 settlements in 22 territorial communities of the region, injuring 12 people, including one child.
According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration stated this on Facebook.
In the Sumy community, a 12-year-old child and a 57-year-old man were injured in Russian UAV attacks. A 25-year-old woman also sought medical help after being injured during the downing of Russian drones.
In the Krasnopillia community, a 52-year-old man was wounded as a result of a drone attack.
In the Velyka Pysarivka community, a 42-year-old man was injured after Russian forces dropped a VOG grenade from a UAV.
In the Okhtyrka community, Russian drone attacks injured five women aged 39, 56, 58, 67, and 78, as well as an 85-year-old man. Another 62-year-old man was injured.
The largest number of strikes was recorded in the Sumy, Shostka, and Okhtyrka districts.
Russian forces carried out nearly 20 strikes with guided aerial bombs, dropped 20 VOG grenades from UAVs, and launched nearly 30 drone strikes as well as FPV drone attacks.
In the Shalyhyne community, two private residential houses and an outbuilding were destroyed.
In the Shostka community, a private house, non-residential premises were destroyed, and another private house was damaged.
In the Velyka Pysarivka community, a private residential house and an outbuilding were damaged, and two cars were destroyed.
In the Bilopillia community, a private residential house was damaged.
In the Sumy community, non-residential buildings and a private car were damaged.
In the Krasnopillia community, a private residential house was destroyed and three outbuildings were damaged.
In the Novoslobidka community, a private residential house was damaged.
In the Okhtyrka community, an apartment building, four cars, a private house, and a medical facility building were damaged.
As Ukrinform reported, Russian Shahed-type drones attacked the Okhtyrka community in the Sumy region, injuring at least seven people.
