Fighters from the 8th Regiment of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed an enemy group that had infiltrated the village of Yarova in Donetsk Oblast, taking advantage of difficult weather conditions.

This was reported by the Special Operations Forces on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

The invaders infiltrated the settlement to reconnoiter the firing positions of Ukrainian defenders and the positions of drone crews.

The Russians captured a local resident, tortured him, and forced him to cooperate. Special Operations Forces operators intercepted the man while he was carrying out another enemy assignment. After quickly questioning him, they carried out a raid.

“Two subgroups conducted reconnaissance of the building where the enemy was hiding. A battle ensued that lasted several minutes,” the command said.
