Shelling of Kramatorsk: One person killed, number of injured climbs to five

One person was killed, and five others were injured in Kramatorsk as a result of an attack by eight Russian Geran-2 drones.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by Oleksandr Honcharenko, the Head of the Kramatorsk City Military Administration.

According to him, on December 1, between 12:55 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Russian troops attacked Kramatorsk with eight Geran-2 combat drones, deliberately targeting residential buildings and infrastructure facilities.

The enemy launched the first strikes at 12:55 p.m. Several UAVs immediately hit multi-story buildings and the private sector.

According to preliminary data, three women born in 1947, 1952, and 1941, and two men born in 1951 and 1954 were injured. All are receiving the necessary medical care.

Five apartment buildings, seven private houses, and seven cars were damaged.

At 1:45 p.m., the Russians sent four more drones to target road infrastructure.

At 6:00 p.m., a Russian combat drone again hit a high-rise building, causing a large-scale fire. This strike killed one person, preliminarily identified as a man born in 1956.

Search and rescue operations are ongoing.

Utility services and specialists are working at the sites of the strikes, clearing debris, removing rubble, restoring damaged networks, and documenting the consequences of yet another criminal attack.

According to a Facebook post by the State Emergency Service, five residents of a nine-story building were rescued, and a large fire was extinguished in two stairwells, covering an area of 4,500 square meters from the 1st to the 8th floors.
