Two killed in Russian attacks on Kharkiv region over past day
On November 28, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and five settlements across the region, killing two people and injuring two others.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"A 33-year-old man was killed in the village of Shestakove of the Staryi Saltiv community, and two women aged 52 and 61 were injured. In the village of Karaichne of the Vovchansk community, a 49-year-old man was killed," the report states.
Syniehubov noted that the enemy used various types of weapons across the Kharkiv region: ten guided aerial bombs, two FPV drones, and 19 UAVs (type to be determined).
In Kharkiv, two apartment buildings, an administrative building, and a vehicle were damaged. In the village of Kivsharivka in the Kupiansk district, an apartment building sustained damage. In the Chuhuiv district, eight private houses, five outbuildings, and four vehicles were damaged in Shestakove, as well as nine private houses and a cultural center in the village of Kyrylivka.
According to the regional governor, a transit evacuation point in Lozova received 70 people over the past day, with 21 remaining.
The region recorded 311 combat engagements during the past day. In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attempted ten attacks against the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Vovchansk, Synelnykove, Lyman, and in the direction of Dvorichna and Kolodiazne.
In the Kupiansk sector, there were 11 combat clashes yesterday. Ukrainian forces repelled assault operations near Pishchane, Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, and Kruhliakivka.
