Defense Forces halt Russian advance near Huliaipole, front stabilized

Ukrainian defenders stopped the enemy offensive and regained control of the situation in the Huliaipole sector.

According to Ukrinform, the Southern Defense Forces reported this on Telegram.

"Near Huliaipole, the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment of the Ground Forces, along with other adjacent assault and mechanized units, held back the offensive and regained control of the situation in the sector. The front has been stabilized," the statement reads.

As Ukrinform reported, as of 08:00 on November 28, Ukrainian fighters repelled 20 Russian attacks in the Huliaipole sector near Zatyshshia, Solodke, Chervone, and in the directions of Dobropillia, Pryluky, Varvarivka, and Huliaipole.
