War update: 247 clashes on front line, Defense Forces stop 59 Russian assaults in Pokrovsk sector
Yesterday, on November 27, 247 combat engagements between Ukraine's Defense Forces and the Russian invaders were recorded on the frontline.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this in a Facebook post, updating on the situation as of 08:00 on Friday, November 28.
The enemy carried out one missile strike using a missile, 53 airstrikes dropping 133 glide bombs. In addition, the Russians conducted 3,470 attacks, including 130 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 2,814 kamikaze drones.
The Russian army launched airstrikes on the areas of Ternuvate, Huliaipole, and Hryhorivka in Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Prydniprovske in Kherson region.
Missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck one enemy personnel concentration area.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, eight combat engagements took place. The enemy carried out five airstrikes, using 11 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 140 attacks, one of them from an MLRS.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attempted to break through the defensive lines six times near Vovchansk, Ambarnе, and Dvorichanske.
In the Kupiansk sector, there were six enemy attacks. The defenders repelled the enemy's assault actions toward Petropavlivka, Mala Shapkivka, Pishchane, and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy conducted 29 attacks, attempting to push forward near Hrekivka, Karpivka, Novoyehorivka, Serednie, Novoselivka, Shandryholove, Torske, and in the direction of Novyi Myr, Hlushchenkove, Druzheliubivka, Olhivka, Stavky, Drobysheve, and Oleksandrivka.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 13 enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Yampol, Dronivka, Serebrianka, Vyiimka, Fedorivka, and toward Zakytne.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks in the area of Chasiv Yar and toward Bondarne.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 31 attacks toward Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Stepanivka, and in the areas of Pleshchiivka and Rusyn Yar.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 59 enemy assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Nove Shakhove, Zatyshok, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novoekonomichne, Pishchane, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Dachne, and toward Hryshine and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrohrad sector, the enemy carried out 29 attacks near Yalta, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Verbove, Pryvilne, Rybne, Zelenyi Hai, Piddubne, Vorone, Stepove, Sichneve, Sosnivka, Krasnohirske, and toward Oleksiivka.
In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 20 enemy attacks near Zatyshshia, Solodke, Chervone, and toward Dobropillia, Pryluky, Varvarivka, and Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv sector, 10 enemy attacks were repelled toward Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, and in the area of Kamianske and Stepove.
In the Dnipro River sector, the Defense Forces repelled one enemy attack toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, there were no signs of Russian forces forming offensive groups.
As Ukrinform reported, the total combat losses of Russian forces from February 24, 2022 to November 28, 2025 in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,170,790 personnel.
