Russian forces attack car in Kherson region with drone, man injured

Russian forces attacked a civilian car with a drone in the Kherson region, injuring a 72-year-old man.

According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported this on its Telegram channel.

“At approximately 07:40, Russian occupation troops attacked a civilian vehicle with a drone in the village of Blahovishchenske of the Kherson community. As a result of the strike, a 72-year-old man sustained a blast injury, a traumatic foot amputation, and shrapnel wounds to his legs,” the report says.

The Kherson City Military Administration reported on Telegram that police officers transported the injured man to the hospital.

According to the Kherson City Military Administration, six settlements of the Kherson community came under Russian fire over the past day. Kherson, Sadove, Antonivka, Stepanivka, Komyshany, and Prydniprovske were hit by artillery shelling and drone terror. Private and multi-storey residential buildings, vehicles, an educational institution, and power lines were damaged. As a result of Russian attacks in the Kherson community, two people, a woman and her six-year-old son, were killed, and seven more were injured.

As Ukrinform reported, two people were killed, and 13 were injured in the Kherson region over the past day due to Russian aggression.
