A fire broke out in Sumy after an explosion, and some areas of the city are reported to be without power.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Suspilne.Sumy.

“A fire broke out in Sumy. Some areas of the city are without power,” the message says.

Earlier, there was a report of an explosion in the city at 3:25 p.m.

As reported by Ukrinform, the first underground school in Sumy has begun working. In total, five underground schools have already been built in three communities in the Sumy region.
