Ukrainian intelligence intercepts call revealing heavy Russian losses in Serebriansky forest
The Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) has released an intercepted conversation in which a Russian serviceman talks about dozens of dead soldiers wearing Russian army patches in the Serebriansky forest in the Luhansk region.
According to Ukrinform, HUR published the interception on Facebook.
"Ukrainian intelligence officers intercepted a Russian serviceman's account of dozens of occupiers' bodies scattered throughout the Serebriansky forest in the Luhansk region," the post reads.
The Russian soldier said that, according to troops he had spoken with, "there are dozens of corpses lying in the forest."
In the end, the Russian tried to dissuade his interlocutor from transferring to the unit operating in the forest area.
Earlier, HUR intercepted a call in which a Russian commander orders his subordinates to execute civilians attempting to leave the combat zone.
