Russian forces shell village in Kherson region, woman killed

Russian troops shelled the village of Kizomys in the Kherson district with artillery on the morning of November 22, killing a 77-year-old woman.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“On November 22, 2025, at around 11:00, Russian troops shelled the village of Kizomys in the Kherson district with artillery. As a result of the attack, a 77-year-old woman who was inside a house was killed,” the statement reads.

According to the report, prosecutors, together with investigators, are documenting the consequences of Russian aggression and collecting evidence.

Under the procedural guidance of the Oleshky District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched in a criminal case on the commission of a war crime that caused the death of a person (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported, in Kherson on November 21, a four-year-old girl was injured as a result of shelling.
