32 people including children injured in Kharkiv in massive drone attack

The number of victims of a massive attack by Russian drones on Kharkiv has risen to 32, including two children, and fires have been reported in the city. (Updated at 03:20 – photos added)

This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, according to Ukrinform.

“According to preliminary information, the enemy directed 19 Geran-2 UAVs at the Slobidske, Osnovianske, and Nemyshlianske districts of the city,” he wrote.

Thirty-two people were injured, including children aged 9 and 13, as well as an 18-year-old girl.

Six of the victims were hospitalized. All are receiving qualified medical care.

“Forty-eight people, including three children, were evacuated from the smoke-filled entrance of a high-rise building,” Syniehubov added.

According to him, at least 10 civilian vehicles were damaged, as well as a nearby residential building. Garages and the roof of an office building caught fire. In addition, a supermarket suffered significant damage.

“All relevant services are working at the scene. The consequences are being dealt with,” said the head of the regional military administration.

As reported by Ukrinform, a fire broke out after a Russian drone hit a multi-storey building in Kharkiv. Earlier, there were reports of seven casualties.
