Russia strikes Kherson region with aircraft, artillery, drones, leaving two killed, three injured
In the Kherson region, two civilians were killed and three injured during attacks throughout the day. The enemy struck using aircraft, artillery, and drones.
According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram.
"According to the investigation, on November 18, the Russian army again attacked populated areas of the Kherson region using aircraft, artillery, and various types of drones," the post says.
As noted, as of 17:30, it is known that two people were killed and three injured as a result of Russian shelling.
In particular, in the afternoon in the Beryslav sector, the occupiers directed a drone at a municipal enterprise truck. At the moment of impact, two workers were inside: one died on the spot, the other was wounded.
As a result of artillery shelling of Kherson at around 16:30, one man was killed and another injured. Earlier, a woman on the street was also injured by Russian artillery.
Private houses and vehicles sustained damage.
Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors of the Kherson region, a pre-trial investigation has been opened into the commission of war crimes.
As Ukrinform reported, Russian forces shelled the Korabelnyi district of Kherson, killing a 40-year-old resident and injuring a 56-year-old man. Russians also shelled the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, injuring a woman.
