Russian troops hit Nikopol with artillery, two dead and several wounded

Russian troops struck Nikopol with artillery. Two people were killed and others were wounded.

This was reported on Telegram by Vladyslav Hayvanenko, acting head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.

“Two people were killed in Nikopol, which was hit by enemy artillery. The attack claimed the lives of a 76-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man,” he wrote.

Several other people were also wounded as a result of the shelling. A woman was hospitalized in moderate condition, and another man was wounded by an FPV drone and will be treated on an outpatient basis.

High-rise buildings, shops, and a hairdresser's salon were damaged in the town.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops attacked the Pavlohrad and Nikopol districts of Dnipropetrovsk region at night.
