Russia's war casualty toll in Ukraine climbs by 1,160 over past day
Russia suffered approximately 1,159,420 casualties in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and November 17, 2025, with 1,160 soldiers killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine's defense forces have destroyed 11,355 (+2) Russian tanks, 23,594 (+3) armored fighting vehicles, 34,486 (+17) artillery systems, 1,544 (+1) multiple rocket launchers, 1,246 (+2) anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 3,940 cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 428 warplanes, 347 helicopters, 81,499 (+213) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 warships/cutters, 1 submarine, 67,536 (+72) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 4,000 pieces of special equipment.
