Rescuers extinguished a large-scale fire in a residential area in the Sumy region that had been shelled by Russian troops.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on Telegram.

“In the Sumy region, the enemy struck a residential area. Private homes and non-residential buildings were damaged and destroyed. A large fire broke out, which was extinguished by rescuers,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported.

According to their data, one person was injured.

As reported by Ukrinform, more than 20 Russian shellings were recorded in the Sumy region, and there are casualties.
