Russian drone strikes industrial enterprise in Sumy, causing significant smoke in city

In Sumy, a strike on an enterprise in an industrial zone was recorded. There is significant smoke in the city after the Russian strike, but no casualties or injuries.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Kryvosheynko, according to Ukrinform. 

"The enemy attack caused a fire in the industrial area of Sumy. The thick column of smoke that residents saw after lunch was the result of a Russian UAV strike on one of the enterprises in the city's industrial zone," Kryvosheynko said.

According to him, the attack caused materials at the production site to catch fire.

He said that, preliminarily, there were no casualties.

The aftermath of the strike is still being dealt with.

Earlier it was reported that over the past day, Russian troops carried out 28 shellings of 15 settlements in 10 territorial communities of the Sumy region.
