About 4,800 civilians remain in Kostiantynivka, evacuation still possible

In Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, there are 4,800 people who still have the opportunity to evacuate from the city.

Donetsk Regional Military Administration representative, Dmytro Petlin, stated this at an online briefing, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Currently, 4,900 people remain in the Kostiantynivka community itself, and in the city of Kostiantynivka almost the same number – 4,800 residents," Petlin noted.

He added that volunteers in armored vehicles can still enter Kostiantynivka, so civilians are able to evacuate. Petlin said that at present there is one evacuation route from Kostiantynivka: Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka settlement – Druzhkivka city – Kramatorsk city, and from there to safer regions.

As reported by Ukrinform, currently 1,253 people remain in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, and 1,350 in Myrnohrad. It is not possible to enter these cities to provide humanitarian aid to civilians.
