Russian forces are moving military equipment from temporarily occupied Crimea to the Russian-Ukrainian front.

Telegram channel Crimean Wind reported this in a post, according to Ukrinform.

"The transfer of armored vehicles from Crimea to the Russian-Ukrainian front has been noted," the report states.

It notes that on a freight train heading north from the peninsula, three BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles were on two platforms immediately behind the locomotive.

Behind these platforms was a guard carriage protecting the military cargo. The train also carried fuel tanks and empty platforms.

As Ukrinform reported, in June 2025, Russia transferred a large amount of military equipment from temporarily occupied Crimea to Russia's Kursk region.
