Employee killed in Russian drone strike at Ukrzaliznytsia infrastructure facility

A security guard was killed during his shift at one of Ukrzaliznytsia's infrastructure facilities as a result of a Russian UAV strike.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by the head of Ukrzaliznytsia, Oleksandr Pertsovskyi.

According to him, the facility had a functioning shelter where the employee had been staying, but the strike caught up with him just two steps away from the shelter, where he did not have time to return.

“We will study all the circumstances in detail to prevent this from happening again,” assured the head of Ukrzaliznytsia.

As reported by Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery - Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksii Kuleba said that Russia is stepping up its attacks on locomotive depots.
