Zelensky meets with children in Kherson
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with schoolchildren in one of the children's spaces in Kherson.
Zelensky reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"I spoke with schoolchildren at one of the children's centers in Kherson. We had a very sincere conversation about their studies, their dreams, and their parents who are defending Ukraine. I am grateful to them. In this center, children can study English and digital literacy free of charge, and take part in art and sports activities. Today, I watched one of the classes – it is very important that there is a place where children can develop," he said.
He expressed gratitude to everyone who supports children and helps organize such spaces in communities across the region.
As reported earlier, today, on the third anniversary of the city's liberation from Russian invaders, Zelensky is visiting Kherson.
In the city, he presented state awards to residents of various professions, held a meeting on security issues, and visited a hospital operating in a shelling zone.
