Zelensky visits hospital in Kherson

While in Kherson, President Volodymyr Zelensky visited a hospital operating in a shelling zone.

The President reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“One of Kherson’s hospitals that is operating under constant threat, in a shelling zone. I spoke with the doctors and patients of the facility. Every day, they save people injured in Russian drone and artillery attacks. To ensure that medical staff can work safely, the intensive care unit is located underground. I thank the doctors and everyone who saves Ukrainian men and women even in such difficult circumstances,”  stated Zelensky.

He said that he also heard a report on the construction of new medical infrastructure facilities in the Kherson region. “Eleven facilities already have underground hospitals. I thank everyone involved. This is important when lives are being saved even as the enemy tries to take them away,” Zelensky noted.

As reported, today, on the third anniversary of the city's liberation from Russian invaders, Volodymyr Zelensky is visiting Kherson. In the city, he awarded Kherson residents of various professions with state awards and held a meeting on security issues.
