Over 300 Russian troops currently stay in Pokrovsk – Ukrainian military
In recent days, Russian forces have stepped up efforts to enter Pokrovsk using light vehicles through the city's southern outskirts. More than 300 enemy troops are currently inside the city.
The 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
To infiltrate the city, the enemy took advantage of unfavorable weather conditions, including dense fog. The poor weather limits the Ukrainian Defense Forces' aerial reconnaissance capabilities and their ability to strike in open terrain.
The invaders' objective remains unchanged – to reach the northern outskirts of Pokrovsk and attempt to encircle the urban area.
Even under low visibility conditions, Ukrainian forces continue to detect and eliminate enemy groups within the city. Since the beginning of November, 162 Russian invaders have been killed in Pokrovsk, and another 39 have been wounded.
Various units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to take part in clearing the city, including the Unmanned Systems Forces, assault and air assault units, Special Operations Forces, National Guard, National Police, and the Security Service of Ukraine.
On November 10, in the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 63 Russian attacks near Pankivka, Shakhove, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Mykhailivka, Novoekonomichne, Myrnohrad, Novopavlivka, Rivne, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiia, and Dachne.
