One injured in Zaporizhzhia hospital explosion

In Zaporizhzhia, an explosive device detonated inside a ward of one of the city’s hospitals.

The National Police of the Zaporizhzhia region announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"On November 10, at 10:30, the Zaporizhzhia District Police Department received a report about the explosion of an unidentified explosive device in a ward of one of the city hospitals. As a result of the incident, a man was injured. He is receiving medical assistance," law enforcement officers wrote.

Explosives experts and an investigative team from the territorial police department are working at the scene.

An investigation is underway, and the issue of entering the information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations is being considered.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, a grenade exploded in an apartment building in Kryvyi Rih, killing a man. Law enforcement officers have opened a criminal case on the grounds of suicide.
