Over 60 Russian strikes pound Sumy region, injuries reported

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out more than 60 strikes across 28 settlements in 16 territorial communities of Sumy region, injuring two people.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Facebook, as cited by Ukrinform.

In Velykopysarivka community, a 45-year-old woman was injured in a Russian drone strike.

In Krasnopillia community, an 89-year-old woman was injured by a UAV strike.

The majority of attacks were recorded in Sumy and Shostka districts.

The Russians carried out over 10 strikes with guided aerial bombs and more than 10 UAV strikes, about 10 grenade launcher drops from drones, and 25 MLRS shellings. FPV drones were also used in attacks on Sumy region.

In Shostka community, non-residential buildings were damaged, while in Sumy community, private homes and non-residential buildings were damaged.

In Romny community, warehouses, multi-storey buildings, private houses, and a truck were damaged.

In Seredyno-Buda community, a private home was destroyed. In Krasnopillia community, a multi-storey building, a private house, and non-residential buildings were damaged.

In Konotop community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.

As reported by Ukrinform, on November 9, Russian forces attacked three communities in Sumy region using strike drones.
