Ukrainian forces neutralize 94 out of 128 Russian drones overnight
Ukraine's air defense forces shot down and jammed 94 drones used by the Russian army in overnight attacks on the country, while enemy strikes were recorded at 11 locations.
The Ukrainian Air Force announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
According to the military, starting at 20:00 on Thursday, November 6, the invaders launched 128 drones of various types against Ukraine, including Shahed and Gerbera UAVs.
The launches were carried out from the areas of the Russian cities of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.
About 80 of the targets were identified as Shahed-type attack drones.
Ukrainian aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces repelled the assault.
As of 09:00 on Friday, November 7, preliminary data indicates that air defense forces had shot down or jammed 94 enemy drones over northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
Strikes by 31 attack UAVs were recorded at 11 locations.
The Air Force said that the attack was still ongoing, with several enemy drones currently observed in Ukrainian airspace.
