Russian army launches 87 strikes on Sumy region in 24 hours, one killed and several injured
From the morning of November 2 to the morning of November 3, the Russian army launched 87 strikes on 35 settlements across 17 territorial communities in the Sumy region.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram.
In the Trostianets community, a 52-year-old man was killed in a drone strike. A 28-year-old woman, two 52-year-old women, and two boys aged 2 and 5 were injured.
In the Lebedyn community, a missile strike injured two women aged 55 and 65.
The highest number of strikes was recorded in the Sumy, Shostka, and Okhtyrka districts.
Russian forces carried out over 10 guided bomb strikes, more than 10 drone attacks, and over 10 VOG grenade drops from UAVs.
The enemy also attacked using FPV drones and launched a missile strike on the Sumy region.
In the Esman community, agricultural equipment was damaged; in the Krasnopillia community, civilian infrastructure was hit; in the Boromlia community, a civilian infrastructure facility and a non-residential building were damaged.
In the Lebedyn community, private houses and a vehicle were damaged; in the Trostianets community, a private house was destroyed, and a car was damaged.
In the Mykolaiv rural community, civilian infrastructure facilities were also damaged.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian forces previously attacked the Trostianets community in the Sumy region with strike drones, killing one person.
