Man killed, child among three injured in Russian attacks on Dnipropetrovsk region
A 55-year-old man was killed in Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region, as a result of a drone strike. Three more people were injured during the day, including an eight-year-old girl. Russian forces also attacked the Nikopol district, wounding a 75-year-old man.
Vladyslav Haivanenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"A 55-year-old man was killed in a drone attack in Pavlohrad. Three people were injured during the day, including an eight-year-old girl. A 71-year-old local man and a 39-year-old woman were also hurt," he wrote.
Haivanenko added that fires broke out in the city. An apartment building, several cars, a metal canopy, and a private enterprise were damaged.
Russian forces also struck the Nikopol district with FPV drones and artillery, targeting the district center as well as the Pokrovske, Myrove, and Marhanets communities.
A 75-year-old man was injured and hospitalized. The shelling damaged a sports school, five private homes, garages, an outbuilding, several vehicles, and a power line.
On November 1, a shop caught fire after a Russian strike in the Samar district, Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring eight people and killing one.
